Tour OVERVIEW
On this tour we will visit the stone age Newgrange passage tomb and historical Slane Castle.
Newgrange is a Neolithic monument in County Meath with a rich history. It is older than Stonehenge and the Great Pyramids of Giza. These days it is considered as much more than just an ancient tomb, and definitely worth a visit.
Slane Castle is historically known for being on the site of the famous Battle of the Boyne, and more recently for the Slane Concert held annually on its grounds. This is another beautiful building and grounds to visit and see for yourself.
