Tour OVERVIEW
On this tour we will head to the Wicklow Mountains and Glendalough for some beautiful scenery.
Glendalough is one of the most popular tourist attractions in Ireland with its historic ruins and unique scenery. It is located in the heart of the Wicklow Mountains National Park, visited by millions every year. Glendalough is a glaciated valley with two lakes and known for the wedding scenes in the movie Braveheart, and is truly a beautiful sight to see.
There is a visitors centre for you to get more information on the site, as well as enjoy lunch.
The Wicklow Mountains offer you popular sights as the Wicklow Way, a 131 kilometre long trail that crosses the mountains; Sally Gap, one of the two east-to-west passes across the mountains; as well as the Powerscourt Estate, a large county estate famous for its house, originally a 13th century castle, and landscaped gardens.
Tour ITINERARY
Departure: 08:00am from your apartment
First stop: Glendalough
Lunch: Glendalough visitors centre
Other stops: Powerscourt, Sally Gap, Wicklow
Way Back to Dublin: 13:00 (approximately) drop off to your apartment

**Should you wish to add any stops during the trip please feel free to do so. However keep in mind that any changes on the itinerary are subject to an extra fee of 50 Euros for every extra hour added to the tour.
